COVID-19 has been around for nearly a year now, and we have all had to accommodate our habits and attitudes as we started working from the comfort of our homes. In early 2020, what we thought was going to be a lockdown for a few weeks or months, turned into a whole year of uncertainty, lockdown & tiers… As a result, business owners and leaders have had to consider making teleworking an integral part of their business.
Today, many people will wonder: “Will we ever go to the office again? If yes, how often? What about socialising? How will we communicate and connect with colleagues and clients?”
Ultimately, what COVID-19 has taught us, is that the future is digital. As more and more of us started working from home, it is essential to build better safety nets in our homes to prevent our remote working space getting hacked or leaking private data. We now know that work will never be the same again, and even if we don’t know exactly how it will be different or how long for, experts have said that remote working will be around for a long, long time!
What this means is that the regular connection, the open home network, and the lesser web security makes your environment a lot more vulnerable than your office.
